Our Approach

Iliana is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate (Supervisor- Cynthia Jefferson LMFT-S) and has extensive training and experience in helping clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma and aiding families with children who are in correctional facilities. Iliana is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where her clients can explore their thoughts and feelings and work towards their goals.

Iliana works primarily from a Symbolic- Experiential approach that focuses on exploring the emotions and experiences of individuals and family members to help them better understand and communicate with each other. It involves using symbolic objects and metaphors to help family members express their feelings and create new meanings and perspectives. 

Iliana also utilize CBT, CBFT, Solution Focused Family Therapy, Experiential Modalities and Strategic Family Therapy.
